Monterrey, California

Weight: 7 lbs. 15 oz.

I really do like this hat and the 'for sale' tag is pretty cool too... I wonder if that white handle in my belly is to wind me up?

I'm sooooo happy - he's out! Off to the ski slopes...

Oh my gosh, what have I gotten myself into here... Who are these people and where's my beer?

Yeah, sure, he can smile... he's not wrapped up like a mummy... I want a BEER! Where's the waitress?

Charles: Ok, they seem like nice folks so I'll stay awilllll........snooze....

Jimmy: He seems like a nice ki.... snooze... (like father, like son)

I am a bear, these are my mandibles' of death, hear me roar! Where's my bear?

I couldn't help myself.  Charles has this look of, "what the heck is this all about?"  I'm sure, when we visit next weekend, I'll see the same look (or worse) when he looks at me.  I'll have to think up something appropriate...

In accordance with AR (Army Regulation) 302-1-5, this is the proper method to carry a sleeping junior Ranger in the authorized 'little soldier carry system.'

This is the proper way to fit into a mummy bag.

Yeah, baby, more beer... Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha....

Ok, there's something odd about this kid.  Hold up a camera and, poof, he looks right towards it.  "Oh no, they're taking my picture again...."

Well, this is better than him pacing back and forth listening to the stupid vacuum.  I mean, what is wrong with this guy? I want to listen to Pearl Jam.  And he's squeezing me like I'm some sort of doll... Old guys... Sheesh...

Lisa's happy and Charles is out like a light.  But... he does look spiffy in his yuppie clothes... :-)

I won't do it, I won't.  She can't make me laugh... <giggle>

When Jimmy, Valerie, and Charles passed through Colorado in late February on their way to Fort Gordon, Georgia, Deanna and I went to visit them in Limon, Colorado.  This is probably the best, to date, picture I have of Charles laughing and smiling. :-)

I don't get it.  I move, I move, I know I'm moving and, yet, I don't seem to get any closer.   And now I've got gas.

I like her.  She smiles a lot and says nice things to me.  Oooooh, a camera... MUST   LOOK   AT   CAMERA...

If this guy doesn't let me go, I'm gonna sock him one...

This is one happy grandson! :-)

After Valerie and Charles returned for a visit to Canada and after Jimmy completed his GRE (Graduate Record Exam), they all decided to take a trip to Savannah, Georgia.  This is a VERY happy Charles!  And, it certainly looks like the weather is a lot warmer.

I'm such a happy camper! Mom's feeding me steak and lobster.  Yeah, none of that runny stuff...

..

Oooooo, looky, someone's taking my picture...

Ok, I've had enough of this.

Charles and Granddad at Heritage Park in Calgary, Canada in July 2008.

Now these are two happy Stampeders! Ok, explanation - we're at the annual Calgary Stampede.

We're just oh so happy to be here at the Calgary Stampede, yesirreeee bub....
