Caribbean Cruise

2003 and 2004

Anyone want to swim? With several pools (some just for adults) and hot tubs, there's plenty of relaxing to do... 11/2003

I injured my knee on the first day of the trip so wasn't able to use the rock climbing wall... But next time... 11/2003

In addition to a mini-golf course, there's also (on the other side) a rollerblade track...  We didn't use either of these... 11/2003

This is the main dining hall (a little dark in the picture).  This is where you're really pampered... :-) 11/2003

Want to stay inside? Believe it or not, there's a mall below.  Some of the rooms actually look out onto the mall. 11/2003

There's nightly entertainment.  Comedians, singers (shown), ice skating shows, dance groups, etc. 11/2003

This is Lisa in St. Martin.  We went shopping for goodies for our new cameras... 11/2003

This is Will and Angelien from Norway.  They were our dinner companions.  They're super people and we hope to keep in touch.  By the way - Will is a race car driver! 11/2003

Will took this shot of Lisa and I on our last night of the cruise. 11/2003

I couldn't help myself - I kept playing with the camera.  This is a shot at night of the pools below. 11/2003

All good things must come to an end.  As the sun sets, so did our cruise.  This, of course, wasn't our ship.  Had it been I would have been in deep doo-doo... :-) 11/2003

Here we are, leaving Port Canaveral, FL for our Southern Caribbean cruise; this time we're in a mini-suite.  12/2004

Lisa on the balcony - we wanted to watch the water turned up by the ships engine.  12/2004

12/2004

Our first stop was Labadee, in Haiti.  We went kayaking; we passed by this village.  This is one of the few villages that actually has electricity as a result of the cruise ships employing the locals.  12/2004

This is Jamaica from the ship.  We went kayaking here as well and then climbed the waterfall - very cool! 12/2004

This is a small waterfall we passed during our kayaking trip in Jamaica.  12/2004

The picture is labeled Grand Caymans but it is, in fact, Cozumel, Mexico.  I forgot to take my camera ashore so missed a few nice inland pictures.  12/2004

This was the Mexican patrol outside of Cozumel, Mexico.  For some reason I just had to take this picture... 12/2004
