This trailer stores a lot of gear inside (30 cf). I certainly won't have this much but... The storage pod in the front is 18"x17"x15", it's where I'll store the gear I need quickly.
I like the amount of storage inside. The trailer is only 255 pounds (30 cu ft of storage) so I don't expect a significant impact to performance/mileage.
This is the inside of the trailer. The pole on the lower right is used to prop up the lid when on the road or for propping up the lid to tuck in the sides when closing. The roll is the rain fly.
This is the trailer with storage pod open. I put my GPS bag in to give an idea of the amount of storage this pod will hold.

The new vertical receiver hitch from Hitch Doctor. The black band between the tail light and hitch is from a FLT and fills in the space between the fender and hitch. When the ball is not needed, it is removed and the bike is clean looking.
This is how the vertical receiver hitch looks when the ball is installed. It slides UP into the receiver.
I just have to take pictures from different angles... Sheesh...
